    Hi all,
I have never been able to sleep properly for as far back as I remember, I only recently decided to seek help from my doctor. The problem I have tried many medications and all have failed. He also believes that they are failing due to my family history with Insomnia.

The medications that I have tried so far:
    Promethazine 25mg
    Zopiclone 3.75mg
    Temazepam 10mg
    Diazepam 5mg

He has got to the point where he doesn't know what to suggest/try next, does anyone know of anymore medications that I can try?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jamie

Check with your doctor about using melatonin supplements. I’ve seen primary care physicians prescribing it to patients with long-term insomnia. The effects can be experienced on using it for a few days. I’d also recommend trying meditation.
